| Worship place for ampitiya village |

Teacher of Ven.Gangodavila Soma thero, Ven.Ampitiya Sri Rahula thero was born in Ampitiya, Kandy. Janavijaya Foundation built a worship place in front of the Ampitiya Rahula thero’s house for the general public.
Neighborhoods and youth’s around the ampitiya village provide very useful support for this worship place
Donation for this worship place is provided by Shakyamuni Sambuddha viharaya, Australia.
We thank full for Shakyamuni Sambuddha viharaya, Vijesuriya family(donate the Buddha statue), organizers in ampitiya, Sri lanka police and all the people and entities which provide JVF there fullest support.
Buddha statue was taken from sri vagiragnnana dharmayathanaya, maharagama to Kandy by a vehicle parade, and there on to ampitiya statue was taken by parade with elephants, dancers and by people. Over 10,000 people were participate at the event.
